60 year reunion report – On Saturday 21st April classmates from 1951 celebrated their 60th anniversary. Thirty five former pupils and partners enjoyed a convivial and entertaining evening at the KC Stadium. Photographs, trophies and school magazines from the 1950s were displayed and brought back memories of teachers, activities and sports. A celebration cake featuring the school motto was ceremonially cut by Jean Powell and a delicious buffet was provided. Once again there was an opportunity to meet friends and school pals not seen for a long time. Talk was not of “what we had done with our lives” but of incidents from those far off days.
